Which Goat Milk Soap to Choose

Most of our goat milk soaps are made with the same basic recipe but are unscented or have a distinct fragrance. Several of our soaps are scented with essential oils or other fragrances, usually with a botanical base. They're made with goat milk, of course, but also plant-based oils like olive oil, coconut oil, and sustainable palm oil. The remaining ingredients are water and fragrances, and occasionally other ingredients like colloidal oatmeal and honey in our Unscented Oatmeal & Honey Soap.

Three of our soaps have some fairly significant differences that deserve a little more in-depth description, so you can understand if they're right for you. 

One of our newest soaps, Turmeric Honey Lemon, contains ingredients that help with dark spots and uneven skin tone. With turmeric, lemon peel, ginger, honey, vitamin C, and kaolin clay, it's an excellent option for anyone who feels they would like something to brighten up a dull complexion.

Dead Sea Mud and Charcoal Soap also starts with the same basic recipe as our other soaps, but we also include Dead Sea mud and activated charcoal. The high mineral content in Dead Sea mud helps to nourish and soothe troubled skin, while activated charcoal acts as a natural detoxifier. We paired these ingredients with peppermint, eucalyptus, and rosemary essential oils for their antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Many customers have found relief from acne and psoriasis by using our Dead Sea Mud & Charcoal Soap.

Our Castile Soap is made with mostly olive oil. Rich, natural olive oil creates a very moisturizing and gentle bar of soap made especially for the most tender skin. This is the soap we recommend for babies.
