Will Your Goat's Milk Soap Recipe Change?
No, don't worry about that! Our basic recipe will not change, and our goat's milk soaps will still be made with the same wonderful, natural ingredients that make them so great for sensitive skin. However, we will no longer carry any products scented with synthetic fragrance oils. Some of our scents will have fragrance oils, but they will be made from natural sources instead of using synthetic chemical formulas.
Why Are You Phasing Out Synthetic Fragrance Oils?
The only real benefit to a synthetic fragrance oil is the scent that it provides, but fragrance oil can be irritating to some people with sensitivities. On the other hand, essential oils are not only pleasant smelling, but they also have a wide variety of benefits for your skin. We want to offer a wide variety of scented and unscented products that everyone can enjoy. We also have decided to make it a priority to offer only the healthiest, most natural options.
How Long Will This Change Take?
We’re in the middle of making the transition right now. As you can imagine, this isn't an overnight process. We’ll be testing out new scents, making some big decisions, and pouring up batches of soap. It takes about 8 weeks for newly made batches to cure before we sell them. We’ve got one new product, Tea Tree Peppermint, already live. Another product rollout is planned for next month. Expect this shift to occur gradually over the next month or two as we phase out old products and bring in new ones.
Can I Still Buy Your Old Fragrance Oil Soaps?
We will be discontinuing our current fragrance oil line as we run out of stock, and we won’t be replenishing those products. However, many of these are still available right now, and we’ll keep these available to sell online as long as we still have stock. If you have a favorite, don’t miss your chance to shop before they’re all gone!
